A series I shot in my hotel room on June 5th, 2021 at 8:48 PM until 9:08 PM. The room had a lamp which I believed to make a convenient spotlight for shooting photos since the cord was so long. I was inspired by many of the other artistic photos that I've seen on Deviant Art and thought to myself, "I've never explored the black & white filter on my Panasonic GH5 yet, so why not?

I did not have a photographer--the only person in the room was myself, whom is depicted in this photo series as a self-portrait. I balanced the camera on top of my camera bag which was on top of a stool, and had to angle the lens up a bit by tucking the strap underneath the front of the camera. The rigging was a bit arbitrary, but it ended up working well for this.

I hope you enjoy! I am a novice photographer, but improving daily. Experimenting is fun!
