What an incredibly interesting, yet pessimisic, way of looking at the presence of a lifeboat.

OR A person who constantly keeps near them while on a boat.

I'm just glad to know they're there

I think everyone is ultimately. Still love the title you chose for the piece. Again, really interesting.

The title just came to my mind after editing the shot, but don't worry it doesn't reflect the way i feel about it

And i'll take it as a compliment, so thank you very much

Well I wasn't meaning you in particular about the 'person'. But it could be said if someone only seemed calm on a boat when near them.

And it was mean to be a compliment. Got me to favorite it afterall [which excluding things I've commissioned, I only have 84 items in my favorites (39 being the most in one folder) and one of those is used just for deviations (Don't Repost w/o Permission). Far less than the typical 100+ per 'Collection' you see.]

In that case I feel very honored, thank you s much!

No problem. I used o do what everyone did. But it hit me one day (and did major tedious, boring cleanup) that what is the point of a favorites folder if I never look at them ever? Or worse yet, don't want to look at what's under the surface pages because it's just as boring as sifting through actual search pages?

So I favorite alot less now. Even if I don't look at them much. I know that when I look back there will be particular things that made me like it alot more than all the other things I like. And I know when I want to look back, that I won't feel like it's a chore.

If I really like an artist, then two or three things should be enough to make me physically go back to their Gallery and look through it when I am in the mood. Not putting their Gallery in my favorites.

I understand, this is why I made an "absolute favs" folder, which I do consult from time to time.

And it still allows me to fav a lot of work, because it's my way of encouraging the good work.

I can understand that. It would also not bother me so much if the people Mas-Faving actually had legitimate parameters for the folders they chose to put things in (instead of random names all meant to invoke 'this is the best folder to be in').

Such as dedicating a Favorites Folder to an Artist (Naming it after them.) Or by Subject matter, even if specifically (i.e. Photos - Animals, Traditional Art - People)
At least then I could understand that they have it honed to finding what they want a breeze, rather than just an insane plethora of images.

Photobucket might not be very proud that it's forever known as an art-dump site. Which is what I primarily am starting to see Collections as. Mini Art-Dump 'sites'
