the farther back you go the dumber you get. odd, seeing as how i sit in the back of every class and yet i still know more than all the preppies, airheads, and jocks ahead of me... *not saying they cant be intelligent just that in most cases they are not or act so. thus i must make fun of them in a stereo typical manor!

I thought the war never really ended, the allies just signed the treaty of versailles with out German approval and pretty much set themselves up for WW2 in the next couple of years... The kiwi thing does make more seance though...

Okay- here's as much as I remember and there are likely to be holes and messed up facts, but here's a small history lesson.
As far as I know the Americans sat on their asses selling weapons to European countries (ie England and France) because they wanted no part of the war besides to sell things to stimulate their economy.
IN COMES AMERICA:Woodrow Willson(or w/e the fuck his name was) presented a document(Woodrow Wilsons 15 points) to the Germans -a list of things that would happen and what they would get if they were stop this war and so they did. Problem was though he hadn't gotten the approval from England or France -and they didn't like this document one bit -so they of course ripped Woodrows idea to bits and from that flame of fail the Treaty of Versailles was born.
The Americans just wanted everything to be all happy again and were more than willing to help the German people in the after math of the war.
England wanted revenge, but also saw that it would be better to lend a hand and get things back on track and normal.
France how-fucking-ever wanted to obliterate Germany and never wanted to have any reason to fear them ever again. So after that Germany was forced to pay back war reparations until all the damage was repaired. (While all this is being decided Hitler is in a hospital with a broken ankle or something listening to everything over a radio and as you can imagine he was not happy)
To try and get the reparations out of the way as fast as possible the Germanys mass-produced their money which led to INFLATION and made their money pretty much useless (like the paso). Many things later came the American epic fail THE DEPRESSION and a pissed off Hitler in replacement of Gustav Stressemen(not sure if I spelt his name right)(who had been slowly getting Germany back on it's feet, but sadly he died and Hitler took his place)

Yeah that's mostly right. I mean I'm not sure about that stuff with the 15 point plan, I mean yeah it was real, and if it had gone through things would have been heck of a lot different but at the time Wilson was sick and really not fit to be in office so he couldn't force his plan. 
For the record...thats what America does during most international wars...sit on our butts selling weapons to the side we want to win...and then getting involved at the last second and then telling everyone else they were fucked with out us...
