Description So, here's a collage of my three official Scarecrow cosplays!
"Batman: The Animated Series", "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham Knight"!
These three are my only completed Scarecrows. But as you may know, "Blackest Night", "Batman: Arkham Asylum" (patient interview version), HessianForHire's and the "Legends Of The Dark Knight" Scarecrow are all in the making! So yeah! Lots to look forward to on the Scarecrow front, haha!

Wow, all three are incredibly awesome! I think Arkham Knight has to be my fav but the animated series is a close second. Amazing work here!

Thank you haha. I did make an updated TAS mask after this one, but I don't have any pictures of it I think. The Arkham Knight suit I was fairly proud of, but I made it before the game launched, so it's a bit inaccurate - and it was a pain to walk around with haha. But really, thank you.

You are most welcome

I wish my Scarecrow suits could be half this good but I just don't have the time or reasources.

Time really is key. But resources are fairly simple to come by. I use linen cloth for all the fabric parts - which is among the most common types of fabrics. Then hot glue and some hand sewing and painting. It really doesn't take much more, unless you want a bunch of fancy props. The costume itself is pretty cheap and easy, it is the props that causes trouble.

Yeah, it's really hard to find good accessories for something like that.

But the Arkham Asylum one is the most comfortable haha.

Sorry, I can't pick a favorite, all three are fantastic.   Any one of them would have trick or treaters running.  You just need that Jeepers Creepers truck to complete the package.

Haha. Thank you! ^^
Tho... Scarecrow is more of a helicopter kind of guy haha. Or train. I've never seen him use any other vehicle yet. Well, maybe in the comics... But if so, then I've forgotten about it xD

Hello!

Well, I am not totally familiar with all of the characters you have done.  I have seen Joker, Maleficent, and of course Pyramid Head.   I have not seen Scarecrow outside of your own work.   He just struck me as a similar creepy guy like the Jeepers Creepers monster.

A train is big and bad, but the problem is that it is confined to a track (unless it is a ghost train), not really suitable for chasing someone.  But a helicopter...Ok, now that is something.  Kind of hard to run away from that.

Here how about this hideous looking thing:

With the right paint job these could be made to look pretty scary:

It would be cool if you found someone that had an older helicopter and you would do your Scarecrow cosplay and get some pictures taken next to the helicopter.  That would be really awesome!

Actually. He's not att all like that haha. Scarecrow isn't a monster. He's just a human. He's a professor of psychology and a very talented chemist. He makes a special gas called Fear Toxin and experiments on people in the name of science. When he was small he was bullied and called scarecrow because of him being skinny and tall and wearing poor clothes. One day, when he was still a teen, he had enough. And he attacked his bullies in a scarecrow costume while they were driving, this caused their deaths and scarecrow, who's real name is Jonathan Crane, felt that scaring others would be hiss call. He started to study the effects of fear and it turned into an obsession. One day when he was teaching at the University Of Gotham, he took a pistol and fired in the classroom to demonstrate fear. This caused him to get fired, but he wanted revenge. So he took on his alter ego, the Scarecrow, and burned down the University's money vault. And he's fought Batman countless times after that. He is probably one of few characters that Batman really hates and want dead. He's beaten him even harder than he's beaten Joker haha. But it's because Jonathan and Batman are very much alike. But instead of doing good deeds, Scarecrow does bad deeds. But both work for justice and revenge. Both use fear as their ally, both are without parents (However, he killed his own father haha), both are brilliant minds, both are super talented martial artists but. They come from two different classes in society. Scarecrow gre up on a farm. Batman grew up in a mansion.
And he's more of a www.northernhelicopters.com/us… kind of helicopter guy. He likes it simple.
No drama untill he's on the location. He is very theatrical and loves to overreact to cause comotion. However, he's actually a rather professional person.

Well, thank you for the back story on Scarecrow.  Naturally I am not familiar with the character so I got him all wrong thinking he was a Jeepers Creepers type guy.  But still that would work too.

Great work on the costume regardless though.   Funny...I thought his helicopter would be 'scarier', like one of the ones I posted.

Here check out this nasty looking thing:

This one looks better, but has a 'mean' look to it:

awin.aviationweek.com/Portals/…

Check out this one, aptly called "The Black Ghost"

Now that's just plain mean looking...and from the looks of it, it can do some serious damage too!

I've actually asked them if I was allowed to visit their store in cosplay and they said that they'd love to see it but that they will take photos that might appear on their page later. So even if I forget, they probably will haha!
