turians are a pain in the butt to draw, along with pretty much all the other species except for maybe the asari and and the quarians

I think the fringe part is the hardest part to draw, even though it looked like it would be the easiest when I started.

they fool you! they make themselves look easy to draw, and when you actually sit down to do it, they laugh in your face and become impossible
