Yes, you did just read that correctly. A Minecraft-based level for Gmod (how cliche) and of a Half-Life 2 level as well. How very meta.Quite a long time back now I spent a week remaking the main areas of City 17 in Minecraft 1.8, and then I ported 2/3 of what I made back into Source. What's the point? Candy doesn't have to have a point. What? This isn't candy, you say? ...good point.
Map features included:
- The main plaza area of City 17 encountered after leaving the train station
- A side plaza area based after a section of the rp version of City 17 on the Gmod workshop, which in turn is based after a part of City 17 from during the chapter Anticitizen One
- An original Minecraft-styled redesign for City 17 devised by yours truly
I think it's a rather good remake. I did take a few liberties in porting this back to Source by improving a few details, like the banner signs and some handrails and stuff. Grab the download here; sta.sh/0lh3yadufkx
