I'll never know how it feels to job like it's 2050, because VR is expensive and my computer can't handle it anyways. ...so here's the next best thing!This is a recreation of the Convenience Store level from Job Simulator, the VR game by Owlchemy Labs. No VR experiences included.
Map features included:
- Several manually-recreated textures from the level
- Several cabinets and compartments around the counter
- A freezer with infinitely-respawning cake
- An item scanner that beeps and flashes when you pass a physics object over it
- A partially-functional . . . uh, space-saving compartment device thing. No anti-gravity display stand included, but it does come with minimal portal technology
- A supersizer device that works on all physics props placed in it (but for some reason, the 'scale' command's effect is . . . scaled down in Gmod. Works normally if the map is opened in Half-Life 2: Episode Two)
- A functional security camera
- You can explore the store, including the bathrooms and the Manager's office/breakroom
- The store has been relocated to City 17, and you can see the citadel as well as passerby citizens outside the window
Also, I used a few props from CHILI's Food and Household Items addon. Mainly the cakes. There's also a vending machine that dispenses dori--I mean, Triangles, everybot's favorite lunch break snack.
It's not quite the same without VR capability, but I'm sure it still has some interest to it all on its own. A night version is also available. Grab the download here; sta.sh/010bc12tqo6t

Well, for one, make sure rendering of Other Entities is turned on, as I see some doors in the back not rendering. Also, on the outside part, you're mainly meant to stay inside the shop, as it has no outside built due to it not being seen in Job Sim. Well, at least, to my knowledge. And certain entities seem to not want to render regardless because of SFM, though I couldn't explain the reasons myself. I'll look into the other things, though.

It's a thing that always starts off, and with it off, several types of entities will not render at all.

No, the Other Entities option is not for the floor, it's for the doors. Floor isn't an entity, my man.
