The first three Paper Mario games were a wonderful romp within their series, following the story of Mario saving the kingdom (and the world) from imminent doom. Paper Mario 64, The Thousand-Year Door, and Super Paper Mario were a nice little trio. The following three titles kind of strayed into their own formula, and, well, we shan't talk of that here. But something the original trilogy had in common were these large most-commonly-yellow blocks used to bar Mario's path; only able to be broken with Hammers, with stronger Hammers required for stronger blocks, and the old head Magikoopa, Kammy herself, was able to summon the yellow ones at will.
This addon features four main block models--scalings of 32, 64, 128 and 192 units--and they all are capable of breaking, with the x32 version breaking into eight pieces, while the other three versions breaking into 27. As well, they all have skins for all the different types of blocks seen; the Yellow Block, Stone Block, and Metal Block, which come with the style variants of 64 and TTYD. (Some of these variants don't exist in the games, but I like consistency)
Slight caution! There are a lot of gib models included.
The original Paper Mario trilogy is always a hoot, and I'd love to be able to replay TTYD. If you've lost your passion due to where the series has gone, maybe we can use these building blocks to bring a bit of it back, eh?
