New Super Mario Bros. hit the original Nintendo DS back in 2006 and was the progenitor for the rest of the New Super Mario Bros. series; it brought forth Star Coins to the collectibles table, being large coins the size of Mario, bearing an image of a star on the front, as the name indicates. There were three in every level, and if you wanted that sweet, sweet 100%, you had to collect and spend them all. There's even a rare, special kind known as the Moon Coin which only have appeared in one game thus far! So, if you want to add to your digital rare coin collection, this is the model for you!
