Been quite depressed these last few days so I wanted to work on something complicated to take my mind off things. Been on a reptile bender as of late and someone recommended that I should do smaug. Seeing how I loved the movie (and dragons) I figured why not!The two smaller ones are the test ones i did and the top side view is the final more refined piece based on those two. May do a full body of smaug one day .. we'll see, it'd be quite the undertaking!

Thanks and good question! I like to play around with expressions, especially when I'm feeling a bit down. A mixture of laziness and just enjoy working with facial expressions. I try no to flood the gallery with them but I realize I've been going a bit overkill lately
