I love John and Thayet. She keeps him balanced and grounded. Lovely drawing. You've done them justice

I've missed you and your drawings..

I always thought Thayet of coppery coloured skin, but you have done a lovely job here!

I know I'm a picky crazy person, but I'm pretty sure that Thayet has at least as dark a shade of skin as Jon. Thayet is half K'miri, albeit with ivory skin, while Jon is pure Tortallan and is described as having fair skin. Also, Thayet's nose is always described as strong, which I'm not really getting from this image.

I do like their poses, but I wish I could see the rest of Jon's face.

There are different shades of light skin. Jon and Thayet are both described as pale-skinned, but that doesn't mean that Thayet couldn't have a lighter shade of skin than Jon. The fact that Thayet is half K'miri pretty clearly did not influence her skin tone, as she is described as having ivory skin.

Erm, Thayet is supposed to have "Ivory" skin.

Yes, which I mentioned. Ivory usually implies a warm cast to the skin, not bluish.

Good point. I still like it, though.
