Description Pointe Saint-Mathieu is an old lighthouse and abbey on the coast of Brittany, where the monks kept its torch lit since 1835. The abbey itself, which you can see some of the structure of, was built late in the 11th century on a foundation that was built back five centuries prior. Everything in france is old, damnit.
