Alexander is my mother's very silly cat. We adopted him five or six years back out of sheer pity. He was considered unadoptable from the inner ear infection that has affected him from kittenhood, causing him to view the world as you or I might see it when we're dizzy-- constantly spinning. It's also caused him to become deaf. Pitying Alexander has become my downfall. He's an absolute jackass who likes to bite everyone and chases my other cats around the house.. but I also find moments of great sympathy for him since he craves human companionship at all times and he amuses me with his stupidity. Like trying to eat plants. Did I mention he doesn't know how to chew food? Yeah. The fact that he's learned how to properly jump onto something in the past two years is a miracle in itself.
