I was just practicing and figured I'd color some of the examples. The top two were colored with markers, with some kind of shading technique that starts with an 's'...oh well, I'll remember its name eventually.
The bottom left is gradient shading, and the bottom right is kind of a failed attempt at cross-hatching. I definitely like gradient shading the best, but that dotting thingy is fun too. We had to do shading examples like this back in cyber school, but it's a lot more fun with Perry and GIR.

UPDATE: STIPPLING! I finally learned what that shading technique on the top two is called and it's stippling! Victory! Sweet victory for [NAME REDACTED]!

I don't own Perry, Phineas and Ferb, GIR, or Invader Zim.
