Welp, Alphys really liked it I guess.I did something different in this pic. Remember how I draw Alphys and ramen pic? The Alphys design in there was my first tries, it kinda suits how I see her ingame. However, I want to try another design. So here you go, what do you guys think?

I can 'seed' how this might irritate Flowey, but to 'petal' you the truth I just 'plant' be-'leaf' that he's really all that mad. I think the 'root' of his glare is more of a deep 'seeded' desire to keep it and to just have an excuse to confiscate it.
All punny business aside, this is a really cute picture!

Exactly.Β Β I wonder if Toby's seen it. Technically, "The Eighth Man" goes all the way back to the 1960s, making it one of the oldest animes. Later, it evolved into '8 Man' (live action) and then '8 Man After' (anime). Apart from the Alphys/Mettaton similarity, it's kind of like Robocop meets The Flash.

Btw, this idea hit me yesterday and I've been passing it around to artists on DA because I won't have time to do it myself. It's not a request, just a suggestion, but the inspirado needs to be "paid forward" as they say. The idea came to me after listening to the Bonetrousel theme for the umteen-hundredth time. Alright, here it is. Alphys and Papyrus are jogging to the tune of the Bonetrousel theme (the viewer would have to be notified that that's what they're listening to so they can imagine Papyrus in his Jogboy gear jogging in tune with the theme) with Papyrus gleefully getting into it while poor sweaty Alphys tries to keep up. The tune ends with Alphys fainting and Papyrus has to carry her home and put her to bed (giving context to him saying that he sent her "very home").

That's enough squee right there as it is, but if you really wanted to go over the top with the adorbs factor, I had another idea that could be conveyed with maybe two extra frames. Papyrus lays her down and covers her up and notices that she's trembling in her sleep (possibly a night terror). His face droops into the most genuinely sympathetic look a skelebro can muster and her gently pats her head crest til she stops trembling. If the viewer has any SOUL at all, this image will totally crush them. Also, the viewer will probably have to go to the dentist (or at least brush their teeth for a really long time).

Further note: If you wanted to throw a movie reference in there, you could have Papyrus say, "Poor soul...she's just too high-strung." I wonder how many people would get that, though.
