EDIT: Some people got confused with the word "bottle" in the first panel. No it's not a drinking game, it's supposed to be "battle" lolWow, if this keeps up, Frisk gonna be like a Pokemon trainer. You know, when you walk around and suddenly someone challenges you? Yeah, and they usually don't care that you have to go to the restroom urgently.
The challenge to make this pic was not sketch nor ideas, but time. Only took one day to come up with the idea and sketch, but it took several weeks to finish coloring it completely. Talk about delays eh?

Yes, Asriel and Flowey is the same person, different form, and somewhat different personality.
Some events changed Asriel into Flowey, but during the game, he went back into Asriel again for a moment.

Oh, don't worry, I saw the history of the game on Youtube, so I got some confussed if they both still as the same person or get different persons. Would be possible to see both Asriel and Flowy with Frisk?

So yes if you look at Flowey, that's actually Asriel but with no 'soul'. And canonically, only one can appear at the time.
But we are in DA where imagination roams freely and creatively, so I'm sure there are several pics or stories where both hanging out with Frisk together.

accidentally misread battle as bottle and i interpreted it as "this fire guy wants frisk to pour a bottle of water on him so he can die"
