It's sad to think many people aren't aware of Breast Cancer, or don't care enough spread awareness. I was that way, unfortunately, until early August when my mother was diagnosed with Stage 2 Cancer ( August 7th to be exact ) She is now half way through her second round of chemo and a surgery to remove her breasts is February.

I hope you don't mind- but for my Breast Cancer journal feature, I'd like to include this piece. I am a survivor, and was inspired to finally pose nude with my double mastectomy scars and reconstruction finally exposed. It was important to me to show the world what lies beneath. I think this piece would be a nice feature in lieu of this same message. I will be providing you a link soon.
