Again, I can't read the poem so that's lost. Amazing what a little editing can do to a photograph. I see what you're trying to convey across this, what I see is a wee bit different. I see what used to be a wonderful, lush, just amazing piece of nature, frozen. Kind of as if somebody wanted to preserve it's beauty for all time and succeeded, but also lost. Wonderful contrast, lovely demure colors and great composition. Kudos to you and your father.

Thanks, the idea of the frozen paradise, fixed in the time, was mine from the beginning. I wanted to show something immortal, totally iced, where souls could rest in peace. I haven't the pretention to make people dreaming about such a place, but I'd be pleased if it happens, because it's the hidden purpose.
