Hey bro i asked permission to use your Silver pattern 1.0 sometime ago,I never have used it but am thinking of trying it now,I am totally new to GIMP and pretty much all computer art and won't be using it commercially but will credit you anytime i use it(Signatures etc),I am having a problem tho,when I try to DL it to "patterns" in my GIMP files and open GIMP I get this ~...Opening 'C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\patterns\Silver Pattern 1.pat' failed: GIMP pattern plug-In could not open image...any idea why or how to fix this?

My patterns are Adobe Photoshop resources... I think GIMP is not able to open such files.
Maybe there is a converter or plug in for GIMP so you might be able to use my stuff.
