Description
Revamped gloves (again) and boxing trunks. Better material zones on both so they are easier to customize. The trunks handle morphing pretty well. The gloves will require a Freak 4 morph (if I feel the need as I'm not going to do that morph unless I know people will use it).I will have to make G2M and G2F specific items, especially the gloves. The trunks I should do as well. Shouldn't be too hard and will ensure the waistband on the trunks don't get distorted and end up looking "wavy."

Yeah, I was about to say the gloves are too small, looking more like MMA gloves instead of boxing gloves, but that's good to know those are still WIP.

Boxers use smaller gloves in actual fights, big gloves are for training/sparring.

They're about the size of 10oz.

Wouldn't autofit help you out to just make one glove for example G2F and autofit it to G2M?

Maybe. I was hoping like other item that the G1 version would simply port over to G2. They do but they get distorted.
For some reason, each time I try to remove the finger part weight mappings, I always get polygons that shoot off to infinity. If I could remove the weight mappings, they'd end up like scaling props so that no matter what a person had for finger/hand poses, they wouldn't distort the boxing glove. It would make the gloves far easier to use with a lot of poses that come from other people. I have got a few standard boxing poses (no southpaw) that work well with my gloves but if you wanted to use any of the Gia fighter poses, the hand poses would distort the gloves. The only solution would be to use my shortcut. That's just another pose file called "Hands Relaxed", which is basically just the hands from the T-pose.

Hmm, I woulda thought if you were posing a boxer you'd lock the hands into a fist position before you posed them. But I haven't actually tried a boxing match render yet. I'm more of a wrestling kinda guy. But I do like the boxing attire outfits as they look keen as all heck.

Most boxing gloves on the market right now require the hands to be in the default open state and/or require you to hide the hands.

Thing is, when you use the transfer utility, you have to use the base T-pose that DAZ starts all figures off with. And that pose is not a fist. As soon as you clump the fingers into a fist, the gloves distort because of the transferred weight maps (I suspect).

Oh, I didn't know you had to be in the t-pose (good name for that) to use autofit. Still a newbie.
