Sue is a good-natured, well rounded man who never takes things too seriously and is usually the first to try and defuse tense situations. He's great at carrying conversations and is entertaining to be around. Generally, He enjoys just taking it easy but has been known to have a wild side. He used to have a terrible temper in his earlier years, but that's mellowed out quite a bit into his adult life. The guy has been through more than his fair share of hardships, so when Sue doesn't feel like being a goofball, he can be very wise. Seems like he knows just the right things to say to others when they need to hear it the most. He's loyal and courageous, and not afraid to fight when he need to.

It's almost second nature for him to defend those who can't protect themselves. He has solid morals and it's near impossible to break him away from what he believes is right. He can be impatient with people if they start testing him, and is no stranger to fist fights but this is rare. However, Sue is good at reading people and knows when they are joking or being malicious. Also has a lot of confidence in himself and his abilities, he refuses to fail when people are depending on him. Since the outbreak, he takes more time to himself. Biography:

Sue was brought up in a broken home, with his dad leaving his mother when he was very young. It was rough, but his mother and three older sisters raised him in a small little town west of Dallas, Texas. During grade school, he was relentlessly picked on for having a girl's name "Susan". He eventually just started going by Emmett but at the time, the bullying made him a defensive and hostile to pretty much everyone. It was like that for a long time and even through high school he carried a chip on his shoulder. Fights occurred regularly and it got so bad that no one knew what to do with him.

He was sent to work on his grandfather's ranch out in Colorado during the summer in an attempt to get him away from his troubles. It was there that he picked up a wide array of skills. His grandpa taught him how to do just about everything an anything, even learning how to survive off the land and fix just about anything. The work was long and hard but it shaped Sue into the man he is today. With all that hard work came a lot of time to reflect and learn patience. It took him awhile, but he's become very understanding, realizing that he enjoys being around people more than fighting them off. He eventually went back to Texas and faced his past demons. It included all his past bullies and even his own father.

He's had various jobs over the last five years. It includes being a mechanic, electrician, and repairman. But the one job he finally settled on was working for a privately owned geological cooperation. It paid very well and he was able to travel a lot to survey land for the government. He was assigned to perform measurements on Mount St. Helen, a volcano which had erupted in WA a few years prior and needed to be monitored. Sue and his coworkers had been passing through Cherry Falls when the outbreak happened. Everything had been thrown into chaos and their car went off the road. Injured and panicked, he as his team fled into the surrounding forest in the pitch black of night, all of them becoming separated. With the sudden appearance of flesh eating monsters lurking through the area, he had no choice but to camp out near a cliff side on the outskirts of town. The isolation was rough, but he found a way to live off the land for months. Eventually when he felt like it was safe enough, Sue made his way back to the car, got it running, and drove into town to see if he could find other survivors and supplies. The mall seemed promising.
