Imagine the deadly combination between a careful planner and a chaotic treasure hunter, you'd get Roane, only- remove the deadly part. Completely. If she can get by without hurting anyone she will. Mainly focused on the physical part though.

Seems to act impulsive, but generally a lot of thought have gone into her actions, or well, a lot of worry perhaps. Tinkering and thinking until one day it's all put into action, seemingly out of nowhere! Might end up in some troubling situations but generally Roane can manage quite a lot of hardship! Again, only physical hardship.

Likes to think of themselves as a sort of gentleman, gentle and kind. As much as they might dislike you they generally try to treat others without bias, however they are very biased towards many things and... It's a real struggle.

Always up for a little adventure! Whenever she falls off the horseback Roane is generally always ready to hop back on again!

Biography:

TDLR: Abandoned by their parents and raised by their grandparents. Raised on a ranch in Texas. When their favorite horse was gonna get sold Roane decided to run away with said horse. Worked at a horse track, befriended farmer from Washington. Moved with Daisy to work for said farmer. Roane followed some other survivors to the safety of the mall.

You see, some people seek adventure! Lots and lots of it! And some people also seek escapism. These people included Roanes parents. Little children has little to do on high mountains, hot deserts and deep waters anyways. It was for the best really!

Roane was dropped off at their grandparents one sunny Sunday afternoon on a remote ranch in Texas, and never saw their parents again. They received letters for a while but after a few months it stopped. Wether their adventures had ended tragically or if they simply decided to completely abandon her, Roane never found out.

But she was young at the time, and liked her grandparents. The situation was manageable.
Spending most of her time with the horses that lived there, Roane learned how to ride and care for them. Bonding a lot with a certain horse, her horse. Daisy she was called, a beautiful dun mare, and she was the sweetest thing! Many hours were spent by her side. Life was turning out to be quite sweet! Everything was fitting into place, and Roane found that she more often forgot how lonely it got.

Time kept moving, clocks kept spinning. And Daisy grew older.

Old enough that keeping her around wasn't... Wasn't possible anymore. It was Roanes grandpa who told her that they were selling Daisy. She felt her heart break, more pieces being ripped out, her world crumbling before. Maybe it was dramatic but- Roane couldn't let them take Daisy from her! She fought the decision, but no matter what she did, no matter what compromise she suggested, no matter the hard work she promised, it was out of the question. Roane couldn't accept it. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And it just so happens that Roane inherited her parents' sense of adventure, escapism and general decision making. So one night, with tears running down her cheeks, a backpack full of the essentials and a sack of hay, Roane snuck out into the stables, led Daisy out and took off together, out into the night. Now they only had each other.

It was rough. Very rough. But Roane had come somewhat prepared and ignored the guilt ripping at their heart.

They managed to walk with Daisy for a bit, far enough to get into another town where they found work at a horse track. Intending to save up money to buy a place for them and Daisy. But plans changed when Roane met a farmer who was there visiting family. Roane befriended him, told him that she'd ran off with Daisy and he, quite amused by the story, offered her to come work at his farm. And you don't refuse a offer like that. With Daisy and the farmer, Roane moved up to Washington to work. Again, life seemed to work itself out. Things had stilled once more.

But that never lasts long.

Roane had been in town to pick up a few things when it happened. In the distance, people screaming- Through pure luck she managed to escape the worst of the carnage. Following another escapee of the horror into the mall. Now stuck here taking refuge with other scared survivors. God... Hopefully Daisy is alright.
