You can tell I didnt care about the background by how bad it isAnyway, here's Riptide!! underappreciated as a character. I think the only time anyone cares about him is when he's with Tsunami.

Atually,,,, the reason riptide is 'underappreciated" unless hes with Tsunami is because he doesn't have any character at all, and only ever appears with Tsunami. He's a one dimensional 'person', made just to be a cheap romantic subplot for Β single book.
Otherwise, i love this style and like??? tthe shading is so good aaAAA the face scales especially hhh,,,
maybe thinning out the lines would look a bit better in future,, because you seem to do Β that in most other art, but thats just a little suggestions ^^

Yeah, I can agree, actually. I think my fangirl 11 year old self blew his character out of proportion.
Anyway, thanks! The lines were originally a sketch (mine are pretty clean) and I refined it a bit because I was lazy. I didn't really feel like really lining.
