Description
After a few days of heavy rain when Vanessa was in preschool. One of the other mothers helping out there came up to me and told me, "Now I don't want you to get mad, but I think you should go see what Vanessa is doing." I walked with her to the classroom door and looked out at the playground, there was Vanessa. Swimming around in the huge puddle that always formed under the swing set when it rained. She was completely covered except for her head. She was fully clothed she even had her shoes on still. I looked at the other mother and said " I don't know whether to laugh or cry" I burst out laughing and told Vanesaa to get out of there. It took a few minutes to get her to understand she wasn't in trouble, but she needed dry clothes to get into the car. We got her into the classroom and dug thru the lost and found box finding only a few jackets. We stripped her down and dried her as best we could with one sweat shirt. Then wrapped another around her waist and put the biggest on over her head. she was covered enough to go home.
From that day on her nick name was "Flipper".
The other mom was taking college classes and had to write up a humorous expereince, she wrote up this story. She got an A+ on that paper.
So see Vanessa has a history of going swimming fully dressed..lol.
