Read left--->rightThis here comic is dedicated to my parents.
You see, my mother is Italian and my father is German.
My dad says the best way to shut up Italians is to tie their hands, because they can't talk without using them.
I don't know if Hetalia is just really good at depicting nations, or if Mom and Dad are just really good at being stereotypical, but they act like Italy and Germany.
Our house is a riot.And I'm back at school now so I actually have a DESK! I'll be popping more of these out soon. Hope you like!

Mabye it's a bit of both XD I'm half Italian and I know I talk with my hands a lot. The only difference is that if you restrain my hands, I don't stop, I get right in your ear, start talking really loudly and even faster to compensate....
I think hetalia has definitely made my home life a bit more interesting. My mom's side is Italian, and my dad's side is Polish and Austrian. Lolz abound, if only for me.

XD My dad's dad is Polish and you can see it when he grumbles randomly about things (though always good heartedly XD). He also tells random polish jokes sometimes, it makes me laugh so hard inside. And sometimes it slips out.
My dad's mom is austrian, polish, moldavian and russian so when people on their side get upset or pissed it's funny to see how they act.... HETALIA MADE ME DO ITTTT D:::

There was this story mentioned in the Hetalia manga (I think >_o ), about an Italian who had been captured during a war. The capturers tried to get information out of him, but no matter what they did, the Italian remained silent. But as soon as they untied his hands he began talking like there's no tomorrow xD

There's an old joke similar to this.
An Italian soldier was captured and tied up. They said they were going to interrogate him. After hours of threats and torture, they finally gave up, thinking that the man was just too strong for them. "Fine. We'll let you go" the enemies said after a while, frustrated. When they untied him, he began babbling out all sorts of things about all of the information they had tried to interrogate him for. As he did so, one man stopped and realized something. "I get it, Italians can't talk without their hands!"
