Read left--->rightThis here comic is dedicated to my parents.
You see, my mother is Italian and my father is German.
My dad says the best way to shut up Italians is to tie their hands, because they can't talk without using them.
I don't know if Hetalia is just really good at depicting nations, or if Mom and Dad are just really good at being stereotypical, but they act like Italy and Germany.
Our house is a riot.And I'm back at school now so I actually have a DESK! I'll be popping more of these out soon. Hope you like!

Yeah... I'm part Italian and it is so hard to talk without moving my hands in some way. If I keep my hands still, I have the hardest time talking. Oh yes, and I'm also part German. And a bunch of others but those two fit this comic.

My gram held my sisters hands down to a table and she could barely say me and she kept trying to pull her hands free lol and her moving her hands started getting annoying and were not Italian

Yup-- very true. My Grandmother is French and she sometimes uses her hands to talk. My Grandfather (who is British) always swears that she's gonna whack him in the face by accident someday (while holding red wine and a slice of cheese xD).

this is a perfect way to shut Veliceano (Italy or i think that is how his name is spell) up and ludwig (germany) Is smart and knows the way to shut him up. though in the anime he doesnt do thay.............. AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUU

wow im like a lil italian and its tru the only way i can talk is with my hands i always have to move them when i talk and i showed this too my friend.....u can pretty much figure out how it ended

I watch my friend tie up my italian friends hands up. It didn't work as well as we thought. It only worked when he tried to get the jump rope off.

hahaha this is soooo true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im 90% italian and my neighbor is german and is ALWAYS with me (he doesnt trust me alone) and he's trying to find away to keep my quiet when i start to get annoying or im misbehaving xD so far pulling my hair is most effective ( thats how he gets me to walk in the same direction he's going when there are things around i could get distracted so he doesnt have to walk further to retrieve me) but tying my hands might work but only for a while ill find a way to talk while my hands are tied

Hidekaz posted a story on his blog about an Italian prisoner to the Germans during WWII. Though the German soldiers tried everything to get the Italian to talk, he wouldn't. So they untied him to release him and he suddenly opened up. That's when they realized he couldn't talk if he wasn't moving his hands. |D

This is also works with the Spanish... i can't tell you how many times my parents knock stuff over when they talk. Everyone complains that i do the same (on the rare occasions when i do talk) XD
