I had such a wonderful time this chapter, even though Nero was run off his feet, as per usual XD I hope I didn't butcher anyone's children, and that everyone had as good a time as I did. It was such a pleasure plot leading this group, you were all fantastic <3

"I did warn you." He spoke, almost softly, to the unicorn before he moved.
The blade ripped free of him, as the roan spun on his hooves, tugging on his goggles, and dashed towards Noa. His heartbeat echoed in his ears, so slow compared with the rate of his hoof beats. The sand flurried behind him in a cloud as he reached the pegasus. Too fast and he could kill Noa, but just enough would push him clear of the blade.

Nero gathered his steps, pacing himself as if before a jump, before swooping his head low and using it to push Noa backwards as he snatched the dagger from the air. Nero steadied himself and turned sharply in the sand, blanketing the surroundings in a flurry of dust. Exhaustedly he stopped. The wind finally tore through his mane as he dropped back to normality.

The saviour shielded the child a little as he fixed the unicorn with a cold glare, "I think you all need to leave." He spoke between heavy breaths, holding the dagger aloft. "Before you lose more than your vendetta against this child." Nero was familiar with surgical equipment, and had toyed with Madden's daggers, but he had not idea how to handle the blade correctly or skilfully and hoped that someone else in the group knew more than he did.
