Oh my gosh, you guys.A background.
A very sketchy, unfinished looking, messy background, but a back ground nevertheless.
I was inspired by this picture [link] --well, fine. Not "inspired," per se, but instead, I just drew it. X'D ...I can do that, right?
If it's alright, I'll be drawing more harajuku stuff XD But yeah. I loved the picture, because the girl was lookin' like a total princess, and she was surrounded by this sketchy street stuff, and it was kinda cool 
So, the thing was, I was planning on doing like, a 10 minute sketch, then that turned into half an hour, which turned into 2 hours, which turned into me having to finish it the next day. X')
NOW ONTO ANOTHER 10MINUTE/HALFHOUR/TWOHOUR/TWO DAY SKETCH, BABY.

I rely on the reference picture x'D
And the texture makes a HUGE difference. In this case, it made the setting look very grungy and unkempt, and that was the effect I wanted. With different textures comes different effects, so you should try it out

This is not a background XD It's just me copying the picture with very little detail and just blocks of color XD I bet you could do it, too!

;o; The sketchy background emphasizes the beauty of the girl. It's like everything is moving and she's just sitting still looking adorable. Waah. It looks similar to the picture, but not too much.
