Description
Currently stalled out on the helmet, so I decided to draw out pattern's for Loki's body armor instead. This is the pattern for the forearm guard (for the right arm). The strip leading away is a second piece of armor that wraps around the arm and attaches at the left top. Haven't quite decided how I'm going to attach it yet -- might put a hinge where it attaches to the lower right side and velcro or some other sort of attachment at the top left.Related content

I think it looks good so far. What material are you going to use for the whole armour thing?

Probably a mix of materials. The arm armor (that looks weird typed out) will definitely be out of craft foam. But the shoulder pieces that hold part of the cape in place -- I think that's going to need to be constructed out of stronger material. I've got a friend who has worked with Sintra before, so I'm going to bribe her into helping me use that (and hopefully use her equipment so I won't have to buy a heat gun!). The chest armor... I'm not sure yet. Could be craft foam or Sintra. The helmet... the helmet is giving me fits and I have no idea what to do at the moment!

I have a rough idea how the shoulder pieces, but I have NO ref photos of the chest armor! And I have no idea how to attach the cape either. It's just not THERE in the pictures I have.

I'm sure I have refs for the chest armor floating around. Haven't tried to sketch it out yet. I can look through my collection of Loki pics and email you some you email me.
