Many Tkarites over the years have left the Freehold to seek their fortunes elsewhere.
A few wish to escape the intrigues and power-plays of the Freehold while others seek better opportunities
to gain power and influence. Many Offworld Tkarites excel in business, some as guards and enforcers,
some as spies, mercenaries and assassins. And others as adventurous.
Those who leave must follow five strict rules:
Do not break the First Law of the Flesh.
Do not break your word.
Do not involve yourself in any way with slavery or conduct business with those who do.
Do nothing that will disgrace your House.
Do nothing that will harm the interests of the Freehold.
An Offworld Tkarite who breaks these rules will be branded a criminal and hunted down.
Tkairites have always been cordial towards the Federation and over the years a few have joined Starfleet.
Males who join tend to gravitate toward Engineering and Science.
Both males and females have joined Security and with their combat skills are formidable.
All Tkarites excel in information gathering and are very good with languages and computers.

Now you see that is just cool.
What is - Do not break the First Law of the Flesh. can you elaborate more?
Question: What if they are under cover, working for star fleet intelligence to bust an orion slave trade ring. Does that fall under the five rules?

Tkarites are similar to Orions in many ways: they are famous for their beauty and very sensual
They often snort at Orions stating: "A Tkarite doesn't need pheromones to get someone into bed!"
Tkarites see nothing wrong with having multiple partners. Marriage is seen as a means of uniting Houses
and producing heirs and has little to do with love. Monogamy is virtually nonexistent and its common for
both partners to have multiple lovers. Since Tkarites are only fertile at certain periods of their lives
this causes no problem.
If a Tkarite is interested in you they'll let you know it! They are very seductive and every bit as predatory
about getting someone into bed as they are about all other aspects.
But for all of their seductive ways, a Tkartite will never force him/herself on someone.
Their strictest law when it comes to sex is: ‘Never against another’s will.’
This is the First Law of the Flesh and to break that law is punishable by a sharp and painful death.
There is a very accurate saying about Tkarites: "A Tkarite might seduce you, manipulate you,
spy on you, steal from you, ruin you, even kill you. But a Tkarite will never, ever, rape you.'"
So if someone tells a Tkarite ‘No’ they immediately back off and never approach them again.
Very few tell them no however and Tkarites, are very good at reading others and can tell if
someone's interested or willing.
Although they are not monogamous, Tkarites always respect the monogamous claims of others.
Since encountering other races if they encounter someone who is married or involved with someone
else they also don't approach them.

AWESOME JOB!!!
Nightwing as usual does beautiful work! I love seeing how she looks when I was reading the story Amethyst Skies I got the impression you got inspiration for Lieutenant Z'Rol and the rest of the race of Tkara from Drow , or dark elves.

I did! Although there are some differences:
Tkarites don't live underground and don't worship a spider goddess.
They've never had slaves.
Although their society is matriarchal males are seen as equals.
They have honor and are fiercely loyal to their Houses (and crews) so they never try to harm a family member.
They are very commercial and frequently trade and engage in business with other races as opposed to attacking them.
