I just looked at #2 again and took more time with the background and details. I like it more on second viewing and can see some of the work more clearly. The background looks like weathered wood...in 3D, no less. Nice.

One of the ways an eye see an image is also from brightest point to the darkest.
So the top left highlight could b avoided Taking the focus more on the flowers..
just a suggestion try it out. if it work gr8.
