So, there it is - a "draw this again" of this drawing: Fluttershy- test and the first video I have recorded c: I really hope to do this with all of my drawings <3 I'm also very proud of how it turned out - it's so motivating to see how my art style has developed throughout the years c:

The impact when I first saw this piece was immense. It's bright and colorful. All the colors are pleasing and fit in, no matter the saturation.
You're an incredibly talented artist, your lines are smooth and natural. And the hair looks fantastic, the yellow sheen is very well done.
When I first looked at the piece, there are three focal points that my eyes were drawn to; the bird, her eyes (which is normal for the first thing to look at) and the insect wings. They really pop! And stand out, they really do look magical. And I can totally see the light shining through them which I love.
The background/ground is also extremely well done. I love the color palette, it's unique yet works so so well. The brown and purple go fantastically together.
Of course, a critique should also include constructive criticism so I sought out things I thought you could improve on. And I really did have to look! There's nothing that stands out to be wrong in this piece.
But one thing that did bother me was the size of her front legs. They are very small in proportion to the rest of her body. And although I respect stylistic choices, it seems like if she were standing up, her legs wouldn't be able to support her, and look very odd. It doesn't look like this in this piece as she is lying down, but the fact remains nonetheless.

Of course Fluttershy was the perfect choice to redraw, I'm definitely not biased
I love her flower crown! The ribbons! And the horn decorations! She has beautiful wings! Of both kinds!
Everything is so vibrant and the colours all work well together!
Philomena looks elegant , and the lighting of the whole piece is absolutely amazing! You ended up with a fitting background that wasn't too simple but doesn't draw attention.
It's really awesome you're trying new things! And it's fascinating to see the process behind it!
If you want an idea for your next redraw, maybe a piece that you remember having issues drawing in the past, if any fit that bill.
