Oh god, I always feel like I should hate sequels, but it's so hard for me not to. Goddammit, Dreamworks.

So in any case, I've recently watched Kung-Fu Panda 2. It's pretty awesome. Story-wise, animation-wise, and "holy shit, look at all that kung-fu!"-wise.

I was even inspired to put actual effort and make some fanart of one of the new characters that I immediately latched on to as someone to loooove. Lookit him. He's so cute.

I only wish I could put that much effort into drawing hammers. Aaah, it sucks. But once you draw something in Paint, it's a pain to edit it. I'm pretty satisfied with the shape of the body I managed to get. Even if he isn't all that accurate. I don't even know why I gave him a brown tinge.

In any case, I don't even know why I like Boss Wolf so much. Maybe it's his tail. I'm sure a lot of people like poofy tails, right? The wolves have poofier tails than the rabbits! Looks so soft. And I guess I do have a penchant for liking the villains a little. But as I saw him get more and more screentime, I felt a sinking feeling in my heart and knew that, alas, Wolf Boss would have something happen to him in the climax.

...I hate that he doesn't have a name. 'Wolf Boss.' I want to give him a name.

...It really should be Chinese, but for some reason, I really want to call him Lobo.

Okay, so Chinese for wolf is 'Lang.' And that can be his family name. So first name...Haha, I had a funny idea.

So Lord Shen befriended the wolves when he was young, which is why Lang here dutifully follows him. I can't help but think 'What if his name is Shen too?' And now all I can imagine is a very cute bonding scene. Two Shens. Shens gotta stick together...

...Although that just makes me more depressed about Lang's death now.

Why is it the guys I like always turn out to be evil or they die?

...I might actually draw more people later. I happen to really like birds, actually. Hah.
