Description
Requested by"Kaddar is wearing boots, a white shirt, and loose, maroon breeches. The open collar reveals a muscular chest. His dark hands are large and strong-looking--his dark skin is attributed to his father's side. He wears a ruby drop and ruby nose button (protective charms) along with many other earrings that are small hoops. On his wrist is a single, heavy silver bracelet and his hands have no rings.
The boys are described as wearing brown, knee-length tunics and leather sandals with the only sign of wealth is the jewelryβearrings, nose rings or nose buttons."

Nice pants! I actually always pictured him with cropped hair, but this looks pretty good. :] His right arm is a little short, and the tilt of his shoulders makes him look a little off balance but nice job with that left hand - I always have a huge amount of trouble when it comes to drawing hands that are being propped on a hip. Yuck.

Yeah! Thank you for putting this together on such short notice. It is perfect to get my entry off the ground. It is so epic. ^_^

Great work even if the pose makes Kaddar look a bit like a pansy

Seriously, for some reason I started humming this when I saw your picture.
But I do love Kaddar. Is there a reason you made his specifically darker than a "normal boy"?

I think in the book it specifically says his skin tone is a lot darker than the average carthaki. He mentions that it's from his Dad's side of the family.

I thought that might be right (it's been a year since I read it, and my mind doesn't hold character descriptions very well). I was just thinking it was interesting.
