Do you know how it feels when you deeply have fallen for someone, but can't tell him, for various reasons?Yet you know, if you keep it for yourself, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.
My will to draw always comes with strong emotions. Drawing often is what helps me calming down the most.
Therefore I am happy, regardless of the situation, to finally upload something again. This is probably my first semi-realistic painting that I completed _without_ using any references!
The feathers though are not painted, but a brush.
This drawing is made of immagination and emotion.
I didn't know where it'd end up, and I sure never imagined the result would look like this.

The little excerpt is from a poem that describes my situation very well, "Quiet Admiration" by Kate Dowd.

Those feathers are gorgeous.
the eyes look a bit off, if you fixed them a bit this would be spectacular.

Something's been bothering me about the eyes as well, but I couldn't seem to point it out. I tried to fix them now, and it already looks a lot better than it did before.
