Description Alternate title: Continuity Error

I know, Ridley. I don't understand that part of the game, either. I mean, she's only thrashed you about 5 million times before.

(I'm talking about "Other M", in case you haven't noticed me railing against it before. I won't repeat myself.)

Though, of course, in "Other M" it's not really Ridley...it's a clone. As a clone, he doesn't have any of Ridley's memories. So he has no idea who the hell Samus is. She's just in his way.

I suck at backgrounds, so I pasted some in there. BGs actually FROM the Metroid games are hard to use, because there's stats and other junk in it. So some I took from elsewhere.

First Frame: Metroid Prime
Second Frame: Original Metroid on the left (from a playthrough on YouTube by Firehawker...and yes that is the room where you fight Ridley...with his tiny little wings he could not possibly use for flight...), and SSBM on the right.
Third & Fourth Frames: Inside Dragon Roost Island from Loz: Windwaker.

Various stuff all copyright Nintendo...just in case you didn't know.

I think he DID have memories of Samus, given his death glare in little birdie form.

Eh. I guess as literary foreshadowing, that works. And if somebody had some way of preserving Ridley's memories, it might be possible to put them in the clone. But I don't that was on the list of Federation conspiracies.

Well, he was supposed to be deader than dead during Other M.

She's killed him five times already...Assuming he's dead seems overly optimistic.

Actually, I'm surprised that the GF cloned Ridley first. You'd think the Space Pirates would have a bunch of backup copies in a spare room or something.

Samus killed Ridley 3 times before Other M (if you count him dying at all in the Prime games).

And why would the Space Pirates randomly clone Ridley? Clones don't have memories or anything from the original.

Ridley was in the original Metroid and Super Metroid, which both come before Other M...so that would be 5 times. I guess he's not really proven to be dead, but the point is that this would be Samus's sixth face-off with him. And she's won the last five.

Well, I guess they wouldn't be cloning "Ridley"...they'd be cloning a huge plasma-breathing dragon, which they'd probably see as an asset.

From Metroid 1-Super, it's all the same Ridley. He doesn't DIE die until Super (though they still have yet to explain how he survives Prime 3...and becomes organic again).

XD! Poor Ridley... now what's he going to do?

Taking over the universe lost the thrill now. I mean, if Samus is just going to sit and cry, what's the point?

Oh... IDEA GET!

Role reversal: Ridley want to know why Samus. Just. Wont. DIE!

Oh, that's easy, Ridley. While you have to wait until the next game to be revived, Samus just has to wait until the Player chooses "Continue".

Samus is very vulnerable to PTSD attacks, she recovered a lot compared to her Chozo days.

That part made me feel a bit sad inside Samus needed a hug, but I found inspiring the fact that this time she could recover very fast AND save the day on the way

That's why Samus is mai waifu.

It was on the correct arm, I swear!

I flipped the pic a couple times in the transition from the sketch on paper to the finished product...I saw the mistake but was so tired of looking at it that I gave up. I've already spent too much time on it.

Hahaha, awesome!

And yes, that makes no sense. But like you said, we all have our various rants and parodies up, so I'll leave it at that.

This comic has Ridley in boxing gloves. This does not compute. Critical overload of funny.
