Inspired by the sudden growth of the Bubbleline Adventure Time pairing that I didn't knew I even liked until this song happened.[link] ~ <3
To be honest I think this fits better if coming from Rarity to Rainbow since in my headcanon Rarity considers herself more of an inconvience - but the characters fit better this way :>
Also this is the chibi style that I like to draw the ponies in sometimes! y/n?

It does make sense from Rarity's POV, but for Rainbow, it makes just as much sense. Rarity is uptight and, even if she cares for someone a lot, will nitpick and gripe about them being improper, and besides Applejack, Rainbow is just about as improper as you can get, henceforth, she probably scolds Rainbow a lot, "Rainbow Dash, that is simply too distasteful!"

Ha yeah I'm not against thinking it fits Rainbow better; I just a small bit of trouble with the fact that Rainbow isn't actually likely to think she was a problem to Rarity or that Rarity would be judgment of her and all the rest of what is said in the lyrics.

This is SO perfect for them. I can see Rainbow Dash fitting this song though-- Rarity must get a little fussy over Rainbow Dash's behavior. Even though it's justified on Rarity's part I'm sure Dash gets fed up and hurt by Rarity seeing her as a nuisance. And I can see Dash saying something mean like in the beginning of the song and Rarity saying the exact same words here as Bubblegum did. XD

Haha I wrote it as a thought in my last fic but it ended up veiling the way I see their "courtship": that it would be Rarity who would have to fight a little bit to get Rainbow's attention. I could see Rarity thinking that Rainbow just doesn't enjoy her company [such as that little snap line in 'Dragonshy'] and then being surprised to find that that isn't true [like that bit of admiration given to her at the end of 'Dog and Pony Show.'] So that's why I was thinking it would actually fit a bit better coming from Rarity :>
But Rarity just doesn't seem like a Marceline to me xD
But Rainbow sure does and it's not hard to think that Rarity would not enjoy Rainbow's more wild character traits x3

I'm not familiar with Adventure Time, but I listened to the song, and it seems like it could work either way for the pair, with appropriate character changes of course. Nice work.

I'm gonna have to pimp out Adventure Time, as I find it to be an excellent cartoon that doesn't take itself seriously and has a very "Saturday Morning cartoon" feel to it :3 I'm not sure how to compare it to FiM but I find it just as good <3

Not quite "new OTP". But it makes me appreciate RariDash a bit more.
Despite Rarity being my favorite, I don't really ship her with anything. She strikes me as too likely to think of herself as "out of their league". But if she were with someone, I see her as being borderline-obsessive (not tsundere style, just the sort of girlfriend that is ultra-supportive. The "even if you say s/he has a point, I'll kick their ass for disagreeing with you" type of girlfriend), so that line strikes me as working from her.

It's odd that I ship her so strongly with Rainbow -or can ship her with pretty much anyone in the mane 6- since I actually see her as a really straight character xD;
I could totally see Rarity as an obsessive girlfriend though, with a girl or a boy either way. She does tend to have rather obsessive qualities in the show sometimes..

I see her as a bit of a biromantic asexual. She seems like she'd be very emotionally attached to someone, but wouldn't care either way about the carnal aspects of things. She might be willing to go that far for someone special, but not because of any enjoyment on her part.
