Okay lets get this thing started. The first few pages will move quickly, but once we get out of Pallet town it's gonna slow down a bit.
PLEASE let me know if the font is hard to read. I'll gladly change it if it gives too many people trouble.
I've never actually done a long term comic before so I'm still figuring out what will look best. you can see I ditched the pencil style after the first panel and I really need to figure out how to draw fire and NOT make it look crappy!

tho I also didn't play emerald, so I keep forgetting Wallace is even a champion, I prefer Steven. Steel types make a much more interesting champion than water, imo.

Honestly the only reason I choose Wallace is because if I DID do a Gen 3 nuzlocke I would probably do Emerald because then you're basically playing both.

oh my, I really quite enjoy the way you stylize pokemon with more curves and cartoon liberties. Β great intro that sets things up to be different, and charming. as for detail amount I think this is the sweet spot for a long term comic, clean lines and black white scales, but no elaborate shading or coloring that'll make doing these pages Β a chore, the style looks doable on a consistent scale without wearing you out. Β Expressions are vivid and my favorite part of this, and the touch of pinkish red helps make the intro dialogue stand out.

I do plan to do some colored bits here and there, but probably only for teammate introductions or important plots like a gym battle.
I plan to take this comic all the way to where I ended up in game, so I hope I can make it! xD
