Description
As suggested by here is the latest in the Color Spectrum series, Princess Eilonwy.Like many of the others, I tried to give Eilonwy historically accurate clothing to wear. The Black Cauldron was published in 1965 by Lloyd Alexander and was heavily inspired by Welsh culture. As such I gave Eilonwy dresses inspired by ancient Welsh-Celtic styles.

... The Black Cauldron? Scary? PAH! That's one reason it's one of the BEST Disney movies there is! It's SCARY, but there's still an adventurous princess in there! The other reason is that it's based on the Mabinogi - WELSH Legends!

I was talking more about the Horned King than anything else... he's creepy, you have to admit, and there's plenty of nightmare fuel to keep little children having nightmares for weeks.

Yeah, but I was very little when I first watched it. I was more of a "wide-eyed wonder at the monster" than anything else. When I watched Xiaolin Showdown, I started off my pattern of "going for the bad boys" with Chase Young, and at a similar age I watched some episodes of things like Babylon 5 with my Mum. I DID get the pants scared off of me by the Empty Child, though. *shudders*

um...did not understand any of those references. I guess this is why they call me the Disney Girl. And why they wouldn't let me do the "man challenge" of hanging out in the "haunted" church basement on mission- they said "I hadn't seen enough horror movies" This just proves them right. Haha.

... They weren't horror movies. The Mabinogi are Welsh Legends, Babylon 5 is a sci-fi show, the Empty Child is a Doctor Who character, and Xiaolin Showdown is a cartoon similar to Avatar: The Last Airbender, but only in the fact that there are characters who can control the elements and awesome kung-fu fight scenes.

Try finding some of them on the web. Most of them are good, but don't watch The Empty Child with the lights off, or right before bed.

If I may have the permission of suggesting something for this "Color Spectrum" series, may I suggest that you do Penny from BOLT? And just with different color tees along with her usual gray clothes that she wears on-set in the movie?

Oh, wow, that's awesome. Eilonwy is so pretty here. All four dresses are awesome, they all have their positive points and are very pretty. Her expressions in all four images are very great too, the devious one in the first panel is just great, but so is the happy one in the last panel.
