asked me to MS Paint-ify the Ponyville Library. Because it was Thunderlane and because it seemed like an interesting challenge. I agreed.OMFG THIS WAS SO HARD!!!!1111!1!!11!11!11 WHY YOU SO COMPLICATED LIBRARY?!?!!??!! WHY YOU SO COMPLICATED?!?!?!?!??!!?
I tried my best and I think it turned out very well.

Okay. May I put you up to speed? Duck is a symbol in the Thomas franchise not because of a gimmick but because of him being a role model. He has pride in being a pannier tank engine from the Great Western Railway. This is considered relatable as we all have pride in our heritage one way or another. His personality also comes into play. Although he's prideful and hard working, he'll always root for the underdog and prove that those who are small can be powerful. It's these traits that made him a favorite of the authors who made him and it's coincidentally his absence from the show that since then, the show itself has lacked in quality. Fortunately, he came back and the stories are gradually getting better.
The same could be said for Golden Oaks and the unicorn who lives there. Think of it this way, Twilight is a unicorn that's basically born with a silver spoon in her mouth (high class living, teachings from a higher power, all that jazz), but she's never seemed to care about any of that. She's more interested in the books she reads and the new company she made in the Mane Six. She's a nerd, yes, but she's a none stereotypical example. She develops social skills overtime and grows closer to these friends she made. She's a good example on how a high class character doesn't have to act hoity toity or even live all that fancy. Her library is the same way. When I see that treehouse, I see a form of construction that strives for connecting nature and civilization together. A place where adventures begin, where your spirit is at ease, where courage, wisdom and power come together to make something great. It's been a part of us from the start of the show and I'd like that to continue the way it always had. Now that they're both gone, I'm finding trouble wondering what made this show so magical again. I can't even call it Friendship Is Magic anymore. Feels more like Toys R Money to me.

Well, that's true, but my point is that's an example of lackluster writing that doesn't show us why it wouldn't work, or one of those moments where someone shows something that could be useful in the future, but never mention it again!

Over 5 hours. I work on them periodically with breaks in between (or else my hand might fall off o.O) and so I don't usually have a proper time. This on was probably closer to 7 hours.
