Description
As suggested by here we have the Blue Fairy making Quasimodo as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside.This is kind of like a Casper or Cinderella deal.

not bad as an idea! think I watched a cartoon based on Notre-Dame de Paris in which Clopin had magic powers: he made Quasimodo handsome to thank him for having saved Esmeralda from death

in a word, from when gypsies attack Notre-Dame to free Esmeralda, the story is totally different:
- Gringoire and Esmeralda don't wed, they're only friends since their first meeting
- Clopin punishes the judge who condemned Esmeralda, making a sort of slave of Clopin's will, because he Esmeralda had confessed to have hit Phoebus with a knife, but she confessed under torture
- Phoebus confesses he had seen that not Esmeralda, but someone else had hit him (Frollo: in this cartoon it is not clear if Phoebus had called him in the room where the Captain was with Esmeralda, or not), "everybody in Paris know that I'm going to marry Fleur-de-Lys; I have many debts, and if someone had known anything about this little adventure of mine, it would be a scandal" Fleur-de-Lys is disappointed because Phoebus was going to marry her for her money only; so Clopin makes Phoebus ugly for his cruelty, and Fleur-de-Lys too (a little unfair!)
- Gringoire had tried to help Esmeralda to escape from the cathedral, and to thank him, Clopin ask him to make a wish. "I'm a poet, I'd like to have a muse to inspire me and to stay with Djali forever" and Clopin turns Djali in a young woman, who's in love with him
- Esmeralda understands Quasimodo's goodness, after Phoebus had not defended her, and Clpopin makes him handsome and heals him
- Frollo is forgiven, and a little later he marries off Esmeralda with Quasimodo, and Gringoire to Djali; Phoebus is made the new bell-ringer of Notre Dame
