Suggestion: download and save to your computer. Open in your editing program. Open a new file too. Copy the template you want to use and paste it to the new file. Copy and paste the pieces you want to use into the new file as well. This will make using and editing much, much easier.

A great many people have inquired to me about a reference sheet base, because some awesome people made one on their own using a bunch of my bases. The original ideas encompassed in this reference sheet were thought up by . You should credit them too if you use this.
I always have to tell the inquirers that I do not have such a sheet and that they have to make it themselves. So in lieu of that, I have made an actual sheet using the bases that people enjoy using for such. So here it is.
Anyone can use this, you don't have to ask. Any and all edits are fine.
Font is Consolas, size 8.

That's one of the techniques I have to use GIMP 2 for. You use the gradient tool.

Can I do it on ms.paint?

It is much more difficult and time consuming to do in MS Paint. You have to zoom in very close and manually create lines of each separate color to get the effect.
