Jesus Christ this took forever, haha... ahah... ha... haaa.... Ehm. So despite the fact that I feel like this much art for one Stryx is rediculous, here it is. Not at all the fault of the people selling their Stryxes, but the in-game AP currency does not at all match up to real currency. Bah. This is probably the last time I'll ever use art to snag myself a Stryx.Yes, I am aware that the feathers on some of those wings overlay each other incorrectly, but that's what happens when you attempt to lineart things after a migraine, things get all wonky.
Anyways, I guess this was good practice in the speed department, and how to keep my shit together and not explode in a flurry of frustrated feathers and fur. :'D

Anyways, this is for Ciameth so that I can get myself one of the Stryx Genos they're selling. Hopefully this is up to par (hit download for full size).

This is amazing, I love the way you draw stryx. Β I bet you could get cash commissions for AP sheets of this quality if you advertise them in the group, or get paid for "Your Stryx Here" Tributes (if you want to breed your stryx, you'll have to do Tributes eventually and why not include a second stryx and have someone pay you for it?). Β Once you get the design approved for your new stryx I'll draw them if you send me a link. Β

I'm glad you like it! I was actually thinking about hopefully getting some Stryx commissions in the future. They're both fun and a pain to draw, haha. So many feathers. That's a good idea for the tributes though! I'll have to keep that in mind.

yeah im not sure how new you are to stryx -the language still gets me...- but you can draw AP in return for breeding slots and trading birds etc

Well seeing as this AP payment is to get my first Stryx, very new.
I'm not sure if I'll ever use AP to buy birds or slots again, I kinda feel like this much work for just getting a digital bird is cheating artists out of their hard work. Generally a sheet of drawings like this would have probably cost around $160 at least. I'd definitely be willing to do commissions of Tributes and Birds and stuff so others can get AP though.

yeah the comparison of AP to $USD value is pretty dodgy.. but its kind of like mobile app games.. you can play fro free and put a lot of time and effort into it or you cna put money in and get things easier..xD ive been doing AP only- i cant afford to put money into it... its tough xD but fun

We'll see. x3 I was part of HARPG a long, long, long time ago and I never really understood the appeal of it. Figured I'd give DracoStryx a chance, see what it's like.
I figure, if anything, I can try and play the market once I get some Stryxs eligible for breeding and try to sell some Genos for a bit of extra cash.
I might be willing to do AP trades though. Draw an image with mine and someone else's Stryx in it, and then they do the same.
