I'm back bitchezzzz! This is pretty old but I stopped procrastinating, edited it and finished it today. I KNOW! I'm soooo worn out...Just Josh and his "batty" self. Nothing conceptual, just having fun with new ways to color. I think I'll be sticking to this style from now on. Less harsh lines.
I need a new logo. I'm sick of that one.
I'm sure you guys agree.Oh, and please don't try to steal my pretty creature of I'll shove my Mexican foot up your ass. Thank you.

Hell, I'm still trying to find my "style". I only use three brushes. I don't know shit about Adobe beyond layers. Download an Adobe trial and give it a try. I started drawing with a mouse--eight years later and my tablet is still a 4 X 6. Nothing fancy. It's all good. You can do it. ^___^ Practice, practice!

Exactly! I've been attempting that pose for years now. Use your friends or photographs as reference until you can do it without looking. Keep at it. You'll get it soon enough. Thank you for the comments.

the pose is really nice. good job figuring in how he would have to balance with those wings. I have seen a good many pictures where it looks like they should tip over backwards.

Thank you. I get what you mean. I think the same thing. Haha. His wings are "reduced" to a tattoo in his back when not in use so he doesn't walk around with them flapping everywhere.

smart. I always wondered about flighted humans, I mean the span it would take to lift a person because of how our bodies are laid out and our denseness... it would be a complete pain in the... deriar. I think it's humorous when people say they wish they had wings without really thinking about it. Where are you going to feasibly keep 20 feet of feathers or flesh in a grocery store... or what if you have to use a public restroom... you better never have to poop cause your wings will end up in the toilet at least four times while your trying to figure out your belt and forget about having any bodily functions if you are a girl! Sorry, I over analyze...

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does... and I suppose when it comes to demons or angels, you can push things out of wack just a smidge, but truly it was so nice to see you realize how the wings would balance him. I imagine with the dexterity he would require to maintain flight he would move crazy beautiful. Man... I am such an anatomy nut.

I'm a psych nut myself. I can't just be happy with "hmmm, I wonder how this would look"... it has to be "hmmm, I wonder how this would look if it had lived through this event or is faced with this moving or horrible thing"... the eyes would be different than the physical force of the form. I love that. the story within a story. Capturing the words between the lines with the lines about the words. I guess that's why I tend to like illustrated prose. Fantasy indeed!

I feel so bad because I feel like I break all my toys. I figure that anyone can write a story about something happening to someone, but I want to know the whole of their universe! There is no point in idle drama. why make something beautiful and soulless, untouched, when you can set it free and give it wings, a soul, with which to fly. I am glad to find another who feels this way
