So I've put probably 4 hours into this redraw. As it says below in the text for the original, that one was meant to be a quicker draw and it was also 7 years old. For a while now I've looked at that piece and wanted to revamp it in higher resolution as well and just improve on it. So here we are. Original below:Original Text for Post:
Okay for those who only recognize half of each reference.
The big robot posed like the flesh creature is Unit 01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The other reference to the pose is Pink Floyd: The Wall.
Needless to say...I saw the flesh creature posed like it was and I thought of Unit 01 and well...here we are.
I tried to copy Pink Floyd's font style as best I can and I'd say its a pretty good crack and an interesting cross between classic rock and a very good anime/manga.
Time Taken: 1 1/2 hours. It was meant to be a kind of quick drawing too.
