Where do I begin on this?? Well first of all this is a fanart piece for 's contest.And secondly this is one of my favorite pieces ever. Not to get proud of myself...but I really am, this turned out way better then I expected. I've been wanting to not just draw more lately but also not mess around when I draw and make real finished pieces. So it started with the figure, and I had to put a background in. I used reference for the pose and the plants in the background. The inks were really pushed on this as well.
Lastly, I installed my roommates small tablet last night thinking since it was so small it wouldn't be that great compared to the huge one I use over at the school computer lab. I was dead wrong I think I even like it better. Note, that I've only been using tablet for like 3 weeks, I am extremely happy with how it came out. The colors were done in a channel method. I guess I better stop here before I get to big of a head >__>;

this is beautiful. i love the pose and my favorite part are the legs. you did such nice shading on them and they're proportionally very accurate. i love her hair too, with those bao things. the background is exceptionally beautiful as well, with the light shining on the door? wall? good lighting.

Very nice. The drawing and dimensions are perfect, and the color is excellent as well. I'm not sure who Samade is, but she kinda reminds me of Chun Li from Street Fighter.

that's overall not bad, it's quite a clean colouring. however, I think you could push this quite a bit by smoothing out the colours more, and increasing the contrast a little. you could also try and paint over the outlines at places, to take a bit away of that comic look, and give it more of a painterly touch
another thing I'd add are a few peak highlights here and there, just to make the shapes pop out a little bit more
one thing that bothers me, is the huge size. it makes it difficult to appreciate this piece in one single view, so I'd really recommend you to downsize this to something like 500x750 or so

No critiques are always welcome, no worries. Especially since the last 100 or so comments on this were all just "awesome." This was the first time I had ever colored something this scale on the computer, I've got a little better since then. I would like to work on my digital painting skills so that I may someday paint over the lines and I'll have to resize the image, but that's no problem. Thanks

yaaaaaa........ omg, this IS great! all those details, and the complete background! i never have the patience to really finish up whole works.... i somehow only have sketches of myself - even tho many consider them finished.
