Redrew an old favorite of mine. It came out okay... It was my first time playing around with real sketch pencils rather than using just the plain old mechanical pencil. XD I prolly should have outlined him a little better before scanning, but oh well. It didn't turn out as awesome as I thought it would, but the blood looks cool!
This is a scene from an old rp. :3 Here would be CID in all his glory while Evett swings away with his hammer-lance, and poor Nat freaking out up there on his shoulder. You might wonder what Nat's purpose is, but she is to Evett like Jiminy Cricket was to Pinocchio I'd say, though she has her reasons for traveling with him, other than to stop him when he goes on bloody rampages.

Haha, I really don't like how this sketch turned out, to be perfectly honest. I do LOVE blood~ If I could I would draw it a lot more, but it is surprisingly very hard to draw!

yea, blood is VERY hard to draw!!! Actually, do u remember the X manga from clamp i told u about? it has a lot of blood xD the few times i've drawn blood, i've used that manga as a reference

I have to say, this still remains my favorite piece. From revisiting this, you really can see a drastic improvement. And you colored the blood, yay!

Thanks so much! I chose to redraw this one cuz it is one of my favs as well! XD I'll try drawing it again in 5 years or so and see if I made any more improvement!
Haha, yeah, I though colored blood would give a neat affect, and it did! It certainly draws the eye!

: D It's a great pic, but two things bug me. =.=
1. The positioning of the hammer-axe-lance... thing. If he was following through from a swing with the hammer side, the face should be facing the opposite direction...
2. The upper hand. It looks upside down. And kinda bent unnaturally.
Other than that, I approve greatly

You're right about both of those things. The hand I know I drew wrong... I should have drawn it in the same position as it was in the original pic... The hammer would be facing the other direction unless he twisted his grip while swinging, which should put the hands in a different position, buuut.... I wasn't thinking of the technicals...
