I am on fire this month, apparently.Had trouble deciding what cheesy thing to have Clark say. Literally my first draft had a speech bubble that said, "cheesy pick-up line here." I kind of wanted something to do with his eyes, but his eyes are like the sky, not the ocean. I went with a silly thing about his smile instead.
Bruce will find a way to brood underwater, you know it.

A cheesy line does sound to be about Clark's speed. And we can always count on Bruce to brood no matter where he is.

Bruce can't grasp kind, honest compliments from those closest. He's become used to hearing pretentious, fake compliments from his more stuck-up rich peers.
