Description
The sketch of this picture is part of a sweet little picture story that did. I started coloring it a long time ago but somehow I didn't finish it and some time after I wasn't able to do so because my coloring style changed so much. Then I started coloring it again and now it's finished!
There are many different styles in it but I like it.I hope you like it

It's easy to tell just how much work and effort you put into this artwork and honestly it looks amazing! the only things that kinda bugged me when I noticed it was the moons shape and that tiny amount of pink between her eyelashes near the start of her eye but these can easily be overlooked. i think maybe sonics ear (the one closest to the moon) could be smaller and amy's fringe should befalling downwards instead of staying in it's original position but that's really a critique to the sketch artist. the ear lines also look a bit wonky on sonic but in terms of your blending style, it' really well done and I've been trying to pull this style off for a while now and to see that it can be done right brings my hopes up a little. just one question before I go, What program do you use? Wow, thank you so much for this great critique! Professional or not, you wrote a very good and helpful critique. Something I can work with. What is it exactly that bugged you about the moon and the tear? I havn't drawn a moon in a while and havn't really drawn a tear before, so it is important to me if can improve on it.
I use Paint Tool Sai and a Wacom Bamboo tablet. If you want, I can teach you how to color lineless

I never really came along with Photoshop when it comes to coloring. But that doesn't matter. I can still explain how you can color lineless in general
First take a sketch or lineart and lower it's opacity, so you are able to paint over but can still see the sketch.
Create a layer above it. Select your basic, shading and lighting colors. Usually I select a few slightly different tones.
Before you start coloring, it is important to be aware which part of the drawing overlapps another. If you create your layers based on this, it gaves more of a 3D feeling.
For coloring in the basic colors, use a tool which is covering (the Brush in Photoshop should work). The shading and lighting is made with Air Brush and should be on the same layer as the basic colors are. Lock the layer you are about to shade. You won't be able to paint out of it that way.
The last part is to blur the shading and lighting and blend it in the basic colors. Don't blend it in completely. It should still be visible and create a 3D like feeling.
For the eyes I use the layer effect luminosity for the lighting and multiply for the shading.

Hmm, good question. To be honest I wasn't thinking about that. I just saw the sketch of it and instantly wanted to color it. But I don't think there was supposed to be talk in it at all. cArDoNaNaVaS made a picture story of it starting with this fav.me/d5a5u5k and I think it speaks for itself
