Description
Wanted to do something for myself this time while waiting for commission work. I dont have a lot of time so here's a quick one of "Slim" from the 90's Xmen. I still like Xmen now but i think 90's was the best for the groupRelated content

Great job, this is my favorite look of Cyclops.
As for the 90s the best for the group, at least in cartoons, because I Heard during those times Marvel made some really bad decisions with the characters. And most people say that the best of the best are "The Claremont/Byrne run" and Astonishing X-men from Whedon and Cassady.

not the best work ive done but it would suffice for now
Whedon and Cassady? it was ok but i dont think it was as good as the 90's when we had artists like Jim Lee, Texeria, the Kuberts, Joe Madureira, Joe Q, etc.... and the stories were better if you ask me. The 90's, we were introduced to the new X-Factor with characters like Guido, Polaris and Havok. We also had X-Force with Cable, Domino and also Deadpool. Even Excalibur was awesome during the time. Xmen Gold and Blue teams were perfect too.
Not only the characters and teams were great, the storylines were also unforgettable. Story arcs like X-cutioner's Song and Age of Apocalypse were introduced. I dont think Astonishing produced such memorable characters, teams and events.
As for the Claremont/Byrne... i never read the whole run but from what ive seen, it was a great time as well. not much books and teams of course as i think there were only the Uncanny Xmen book and the X-Factor book. but i may be wrong... im sure there was no X-force, blue/gold teams though.

I told you what I Heard from most people about the 90s comics, but I guess I should give them a chance. As for Polaris and Havok, actually those existed long before the 90s, they were in the original team in the Giant Size X-men # 1 comic.
but thank you for the information.

no prob bro... i was juz sharing my opinion on em as well coz it was actually the 90's line that got me hooked on em i knew Polaris and Havok were old characters and i never cared about em before but when the 2nd X-factor group was formed with them, it was awesome
